Villa Lotus is
set amongst lush Paddy Fields, tropical
Balinese gardens and Lotus Ponds in the
ancient Village of Pandak Bandung in Kediri-Tabanan
on Bali’s West Coast. Perched on the
ridge of the Laing River Valley facing to
the east, this private residence is just
10km from Bali Nirwana Golf Course and an
hour’s drive to Bali’s Cultural
and Arts Centre of Ubud.
Villa Lotus was
designed and built by a Balinese Architect
on 8000 sqm land with a distinctively Balinese
flavor and design. Alang-Alang thatched
roofs, a Balinese entrance gate ‘Angkul’
constructed of brick, natural white paras
stone work, timber and traditional structures
blends with a modern interior design in
harmony with the tranquil gardens and idyllic
lotus ponds.
The whole resident
is composed of four thatched structures
consisting of two 2-Bedroom Pavillions and
two 1-Bedroom Pavillions with king-size
beds. Spacious semi-open air living and
dining areas overlooks the Lotus Ponds where
guests can enjoy the breezy wind from the
Valley and Paddy Fields. A 8x20 sqm Swimming
Pool with Balinese open air garden gazebo,
Massage Area, Jacuzzi, Cold Plunge Pool
and a Yoga Pavillion is ideal for total
relaxation. A fully equipped kitchen, a
separate staff quarter and a full house-hold
of staff and cook are available to look
after you during your stay. Villa Lotus
residents can comfortably accommodate large
families or small groups of golfers and
is an ideal setting for holding Yoga Retreats
or intimate gatherings.
Each of the Pavillions
has a semi-open private terrace overlooking
tranquil gardens with comfortable sitting
areas and each tastefully furnished with
high quality solid wood furniture and artifacts.
Each Bedroom has a private outdoor shower
and open bath tub with all amenities including
hand-made natural soaps and toiletries,
sitting area and a separate dressing area.
Each bedroom is fully air-conditioned, equipped
with IDD telephone lines and an in-room
safety deposit box. A separate Pavillion
for the Spa and Gymnasium is available separate
from the main house and divided by open
lawns and tropical plants.
